Eligibility
Umpires must be 12 years old by April 30th of this year to be eligible. Click on the link to the left for more information on eligibility.
Parent Volunteers
Adults with and without umpire experience are welcome to join the program assisting as umpires or serving on the umpire committee. Contact the Umpire In Chief if interested - Scott Zwink at szwink@yahoo.com
Training
Attendance at the applicable training sessions is mandatory in order for umpires to advance to the next level of compensation and play. Training sessions will be held at Williamsville East High School in the gymnasium (enter on the north side of the building towards the rear). Former Lou Gehrig Chief Umpire Don Fleming will conduct umpire training for us. Materials and equipment will be provided. College students who have previously attained level 4 are not required to attend training but are encouraged to do so if possible.
2010 Training Schedule
Level 1: March 7th, 14th, and April 25th - Williamsville East High School 9:30 - 11:30 AM
Make up training session for all levels - Wednesday, April 28th - Lou Gehrig complex 6:00 - 7:30 PM
